ING Belgium’s Board of Directors today announced that Rik Vandenberghe has tendered his resignation as CEO and member of the Board of Directors of ING Belgium. He will remain CEO of ING Belgium until February 28th.

Rik Vandenberghe started his career with Bank Brussels Lambert in 1984 and occupied various functions in Belgium and abroad until his appointment in May 2013 as CEO of ING Belgium. “After more than 30 years at ING, I have decided to take on a new position outside the financial sector.
