Peter Adams appointed CEO of ING in Belgium

Brussels - Peter Adams (44) has been appointed as CEO of ING in Belgium effective 2 January 2021. Peter Adams will succeed Hans De Munck who has served as interim CEO from 1 October 2020. Hans De Munck will continue his role as CFO of ING in Belgium.

Peter Adams has extensive experience in both the Belgian and international financial sector. He currently serves as managing director and senior partner at Boston Consulting Group, leading BCG’s European People and Organisation Practice. Before that, Peter was the managing partner for BCG in Belgium and Luxembourg. Since joining BCG in 1999, Peter has been involved in some of the largest transformations in the European banking industry, in particular in the Nordics, UK, France and Benelux, advising retail and commercial banks and insurers on a broad range of strategy, operations, and transformation issues.
