Jan Vorstermans appointed fund manager of the Ark Angels Activator Fund

The Ark Angels Activator Fund is an initiative of BAN Vlaanderen and ING Belgium with the support of the ARKimedes-Fonds of the Flemish Region.

Jan Vostermans, previously COO of Telenet, will take up the role of fund manager starting on 1 August 2019. Together with Marc Mommaerts, the two fund managers of the Ark Angels Activator Fund will manage the existing portfolio of the funds with a view to achieving lucrative and interesting exits.

Jan replaces Rudi Severijns, who from that date on will take up the position of investment director of the KBC Focus Fund.

“I am looking forward to working with Marc and the BAN team to successfully guide the start-ups in the AAA Fund portfolio. I will draw on my experience and network to help them grow”, says Jan Vostermans.

The Ark Angels Activator Fund NV is a closed venture capital fund with a capital of € 14.8 million. The Fund is known as ARKIV and has obtained the status of Private Privak/Pricaf under Belgian law. The Fund is managed by a management company established by BAN Vlaanderen VZW, ING Belgium and the fund managers. It addresses investments in young growth businesses as well as in companies in the growth or transition phase with an operational headquarters in Flanders.
