ING shows business owners that leasing goes far beyond company cars with its national campaign “Need it? Lease it!”

Leasing has long since stopped being exclusively about company cars. With the national campaign “Need it? Lease it.”, ING aims to help business owners discover that machinery, agricultural equipment, industrial installations and a wide range of other business investments can also be financed through leasing. The campaign also highlights how easy the application process is today: eligible business owners can complete their lease application entirely online in just 11 minutes via the ING Banking app.

With this campaign, ING is dispelling a persistent misconception among business owners that leasing is exclusively about company cars, whereas leasing can, in fact, be used for a much wider range of business investments. So the key message is simple: “Need it? Lease it!” Everything a business needs to grow can potentially be financed through leasing, without the cash flow of the business coming under pressure.

The campaign was developed together with the creative agency AdSomeNoise and will run until 27 September on billboards, social media, online video and digital media. To demonstrate the versatility of leasing, a range of campaign visuals and videos have been developed, focusing on a wide variety of sectors and investments.

Saskia Bauters, Head of Business Banking at ING Belgium: “Today, more than ever, entrepreneurs need flexible financing solutions to turn their ambitions into reality. Leasing can play an important role in supporting them. Yet leasing is still too often associated solely with company cars, while in reality it is a flexible financing solution that can be used for a wide range of investments. In addition, our new digital leasing journey allows a significant part of the application process to be completed entirely online, from calculation to signature. In this way, we support entrepreneurs in their investment plans while further strengthening our relationship with them.”
