Following Emmanuel’s departure, Erik Van Den Eynden will take on ad interim responsibility for Wholesale Banking in BeLux in addition to his current role as CEO of ING Belgium. Philippe Wallez, who is currently head of Retail and Private Banking ING Belgium, will also assume ad interim responsibility for the MidCorporates activities in BeLux.
“Emmanuel invested his energy in developing the Wholesale and MidCorporates franchises. I would like to thank him for his important contribution and determination in improving the client experience and fostering personal relationship. Wishing him all the best with his future projects. His experience and sector knowledge was highly appreciated,” expresses Erik Van Den Eynden, CEO of ING Belgium.
