A successful World Cup campaign with a lasting impact for local Belgian football clubs

Through the initiative ‘Her Goal, Your Club’, every Belgian goal generated support for women's football projects across Belgium

The Red Devils' World Cup journey has come to an end, but the impact of their campaign will continue to be felt on football pitches across Belgium. Every goal scored by the Red Devils – from the preparation matches ahead of the tournament to the World Cup itself – created opportunities beyond the pitch. Through the initiative 'Her Goal, Your Club', ING Belgium transformed every Belgian goal into tangible support for local football clubs committed to strengthening women's football across the country and driving positive social value within their local communities.

This initiative builds upon ING Belgium’s 16-year history as a proud partner of Belgian football. Launched in partnership with the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA), 'Her Goal, Your Club' invited football clubs across Belgium to submit projects aimed at helping grow women's football. For every goal scored by the Red Devils during the preparation matches and World Cup campaign, ING Belgium committed to supporting two club projects, each receiving €1,500. During the tournament and the preparation matches, the national team found the back of the net 21 times, with memorable goals from players like Youri Tielemans and Romelu Lukaku. Altogether, ING Belgium supported 42 football clubs across Belgium, representing a total investment of €63,000

Peter Adams, CEO ING Belgium: "The Red Devils gave Belgian fans many memorable moments this summer. We are proud of the team's performance and fighting spirit throughout the campaign. But what makes us equally proud is the lasting impact this tournament has created beyond the pitch. For 16 years, we have invested in the growth of Belgian football, and by linking the Red Devils' goals directly to grassroots clubs, we are activating new, sustainable opportunities for the next generation of girls and young women to discover, play, and thrive in football."
