Brussels - From a first pay slip to a first home or a first big professional step, life is full of moments where everything suddenly starts to move faster. To support young people navigating those milestones, ING has launched a new bilingual vodcast, available in Dutch as “Het Start Hier” and in French as “Ça commence ici.”
The vodcast explores the first major turning points in life - first job, first salary, first home, first child or first business - moments when excitement and uncertainty often go hand in hand, and when financial decisions really start to matter. Through open conversations and real\u2011life stories, ING aims to offer guidance that feels useful, relatable and reassuring.
Each episode brings people together on the sofa, where Shauni Van Impe and Marius Rosière welcoming guests, creating an open and accessible setting for authentic conversations, practical insights and ING expertise, without jargon or traditional banking language.
“We see that many young people still struggle with financial knowledge, especially at key moments in their lives,” says An Caers, Head of Communications, Brand & Marketing Communications at ING Belgium. “As a bank, we have a role to play. With this vodcast, we want to offer something accessible and engaging, built around real stories and experiences young people truly relate to. It allows us to share our expertise in a relevant and meaningful way, offering guidance without banking jargon.”
